What you get

Enterprise CDN infrastructure. Simple URL rewriting from WP Media Cloud.

WP Media Cloud rewrites all WordPress media URLs to your CDN77 pull zone hostname. CDN77 handles caching, delivery, security, and routing from its 136+ PoP network from that point on.

Automatic URL rewriting

Enter your CDN77 pull zone hostname in WP Media Cloud settings. Every media URL on your WordPress site rewrites to your CDN77 domain automatically, including images in post content, featured images, and media inserted by page builders.

Advanced DDoS protection

CDN77 includes proprietary multi-layer DDoS protection across all plans. All media delivered through CDN77 benefits from the same protection used by major streaming platforms and enterprise clients, without any additional configuration or cost.

HTTP/3 with server push

CDN77 supports TLS 1.3 with 0-RTT, QUIC, and HTTP/3 with server push and optimized prioritisation across its entire network. Modern protocol support is active on all PoPs by default with no configuration required.

Origin Shield

CDN77 offers multi-layered Origin Shield, an additional caching layer between PoPs and your origin server. This reduces origin requests significantly for high-traffic sites and protects your origin from traffic spikes during viral moments.

Real-time analytics

CDN77 includes real-time analytics and reporting across all plans. Monitor bandwidth usage, request volumes, cache hit ratios, and geographic traffic distribution. Log cluster integration is also available for more advanced log processing needs.

Global private backbone

CDN77 operates a proprietary global private backbone rather than relying entirely on public internet routing. This provides more predictable latency and reduces the number of network hops between PoPs, improving delivery consistency for global audiences.

Who CDN77 is for

Built for high-volume delivery. Not the cheapest option for small sites.

CDN77 positions itself as an enterprise CDN serving clients with large traffic volumes. Its Growth plan starts at $990 per month covering up to 250 TB of global traffic. This makes it one of the more expensive CDN options per dollar for low-volume WordPress sites.

Where CDN77 excels is at scale and for clients who need enterprise-grade features, a global private backbone, advanced video delivery capabilities, and direct access to in-house L2/L3 engineers via Slack. Clients include major streaming platforms and large media organisations.

For a WordPress site with moderate media traffic, Bunny CDN, Cloudflare, or KeyCDN offer lower entry costs. If you are running a high-traffic media site, a video platform, or need enterprise SLAs and dedicated support, CDN77 is worth considering.

CDN77 offers two plans. The Growth plan covers up to 250 TB of global traffic per month for $990 per month, with all 136+ PoPs included and full access to all CDN77 features. There are no per-region charges and no separate billing for different geographies. Overages on the Growth plan are billed at $3.96 per TB.

The Enterprise plan is priced on request and designed for clients with more than 250 TB of monthly traffic, requirements for custom API management, dedicated engineering support, and customised infrastructure configurations.

CDN77 also offers its own S3-compatible Object Storage as a paid add-on. Storage costs $100 per month for 5 TB on HDD, with no egress fees between CDN77 Object Storage and the CDN77 delivery platform. Egress outside CDN77 is $0.09 per GB with the first 50 GB free.

How it works

Set up a CDN77 pull zone. Paste the hostname into WP Media Cloud.

CDN77 uses pull zones, the same model as every other CDN in WP Media Cloud. Point a pull zone at your storage origin and WP Media Cloud rewrites all media URLs to your CDN77 hostname.

Step 01

Set up your storage provider

Configure WP Media Cloud with your preferred storage provider first. CDN77 works as a pull zone in front of any storage origin that exposes a public HTTP URL.

Step 02

Create a CDN77 account and pull zone

Contact CDN77 via their website to start a trial or set up a Growth plan. In the CDN77 dashboard, create a pull zone with your storage bucket endpoint as the origin URL. Note your CDN77 pull zone hostname.

Step 03

Enter the CDN URL in WP Media Cloud

In WP Media Cloud settings, paste your CDN77 pull zone hostname into the CDN URL field. All media URLs on your site rewrite to the CDN77 domain immediately. Run the health check to confirm delivery is working.

Step 04

Media serves from the CDN77 edge

Every image, video, and file is now served from the CDN77 edge location closest to each visitor. DDoS protection, TLS 1.3, HTTP/3, and caching are all active by default with no further configuration.

Storage pairings

Works with any storage origin that has a public HTTP endpoint.

CDN77 pull zones accept any public HTTP or HTTPS origin URL, which means CDN77 works as a CDN in front of any storage provider in WP Media Cloud that exposes a public bucket URL. Point the pull zone origin at your storage bucket endpoint, enter your CDN77 hostname in WP Media Cloud settings, and all media URLs rewrite automatically.

CDN77 also offers its own S3-compatible Object Storage as an add-on for clients who want to keep storage and delivery within the CDN77 platform. CDN77 Object Storage has no egress fees between storage and the CDN77 delivery network.

WooCommerce downloadable products served through CDN77 use standard CDN URLs. Secure signed downloads require Bunny.net Edge Storage (Token Authentication) or Cloudflare R2 (SigV4) as your storage provider.
