Each WordPress installation (domain) counts as one site. Licensing is managed through SureCart, which activates per domain. A WordPress Multisite network counts as one activation against your license. Staging and local development environments do not count toward your limit.

The plugin continues to work indefinitely after your license expires. You keep all functionality. You just stop receiving automatic updates and access to support until you renew. Your media stays on your CDN.

Yes. You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time and pay only the prorated difference. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal date.

Yes. WP Media Cloud is a paid plugin licensed annually. Your license gives you 12 months of updates and support. When the year is up, you can renew at the same price to continue receiving updates. If you prefer not to renew, the plugin keeps working but will no longer receive updates or support. The Lifetime plan is the exception: one payment gets you lifetime updates and 3 years of support.

Yes. Lifetime license holders receive all future plugin updates for the lifetime of the product. Support is included for 3 years from the date of purchase.

WP Media Cloud rewrites URLs dynamically in PHP. If you deactivate the plugin, WordPress reverts to serving files from their local path. If you enabled "Remove local files," those files will be inaccessible until re-downloaded from cloud storage. Use the Download Media tool before deactivating to restore local copies first.

Yes. Staging and local development environments do not count toward your site limit. You can freely test on staging without consuming a license seat.

Yes. Product images are served from your CDN automatically on all providers. For downloadable product files, enabling Secure WooCommerce Downloads generates short-lived signed URLs so customers get a secure, time-limited link. Bunny.net uses Token Authentication (enable Token Auth on your Pull Zone in the Bunny dashboard and paste the key into WP Media Cloud settings). Cloudflare R2 uses AWS Signature V4 presigned URLs. Links expire after 10 minutes by default.

Storage and bandwidth costs are charged directly by your provider and are separate from the WP Media Cloud license fee. Bunny.net Edge Storage starts at $0.01 per GB/month. Cloudflare R2 has no egress fees. Amazon S3 pricing varies by region. Most small to medium WordPress sites spend a few dollars per month on storage.
